Terms of Use (End-User License Agreement)
ClearBooks Portal · Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and ClearBooks Solutions, 1 Paragon Drive, Montvale, NJ 07645 (“we”, “us”) for use of ClearBooks Portal (“the Portal”). By signing in or connecting a QuickBooks Online company to the Portal, you agree to them.
1. What the Portal is
A private practice-management tool that ClearBooks Solutions uses to manage bookkeeping work: clients, tasks, reminders and automations based on QuickBooks Online data. It is provided to ClearBooks Solutions staff and, where applicable, to clients who authorize a connection to their QuickBooks Online company.
2. License
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Portal for ClearBooks Solutions business purposes while you have an active account or connection. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or attempt to bypass the Portal’s security, or use it for anything unlawful.
3. Accounts
Keep your password private and don’t share accounts. Tell us right away at shlomo@clearbookssolutions.com if you think your account was used without permission. We may suspend accounts to protect the Portal or our clients.
4. QuickBooks connection
Connecting a QuickBooks Online company authorizes the Portal to read accounting data as described in our Privacy Policy. Only a person who is authorized to grant access to that company should connect it. Access can be removed at any time by disconnecting in the Portal or in QuickBooks. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. The Portal is not made, endorsed or supported by Intuit, and Intuit is not responsible for it.
5. Your data
Client data remains the property of the client it belongs to. We use it only to provide our services, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. No warranty
We work hard to keep the Portal accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Automations are an aid, not a substitute for professional review: always confirm important figures in QuickBooks.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearBooks Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the Portal. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Portal is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending use
You may stop using the Portal at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or when the business relationship ends. Sections 5–9 survive termination.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; courts located in Bergen County, New Jersey have jurisdiction. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the update.
